Three weeks ago three-year-old Alexis Wilmot from Caterham, Surrey, went into a mens clothing shop with her nanny, eighteen-year-old Marie Carey, and overhead one of the salesmen say that " The Kinks" went there for their clothes. So every time Marie brings the child up to town a visit to the shop " Adam W1" is a must. In fact, Alexis is quite content to wait there for hours in case The Kinks ever come in, and the nanny can take a along as she wants over her shopping. Alexis knows one of the Kinks songs " Tired of waiting for you" but Alexis isn t. Also pictured with the owner, Mr Adam. 9th April 1965
